Online Self Registration
Instructions
You may register online at NJIT’s secure website, which can
be found at: http://cp1.njit.edu/cp/home/loginf
(HIGHLANDER PIPELINE) You will need the
following information to log onto the NJIT Student Information System:
You must have a NJIT UCID.
If you do not know what your UCID is, please contact: 973-596-2900
Once in, please go to Student Services tab at the top. Click on “Student Services”, it will bring
you to the following below:
Successful login will take you to the Enrollment Services
website. Click on the Registration & Schedule option to enroll
for your course.
You will need a call number to register for your
course(s)
To find your call number, Log onto: http://www.njit.edu/old/Registrar/
for your scheduled semester.

Follow these steps to register:
- On the
Course Sections screen, select the Term that you are registering
for.

- On the
Select Subject screen, select the Academic Department that is
offering the course that you are registering for.
- On the
Select Course screen, select the Course Number of the course that
you are registering for.

- On the
Available Sections Screen, select the Section that you would like
to register for.
- Once
you have selected a course, write down the call number.

- Select
the Drop/Add Courses link on the bottom of the screen.
- On the
Drop/Add Classes screen enter the Call Number(s) of the course(s)
in which you desire enrollment in the text box(es) found under the Add
Class portion of the screen.

- Click
the Submit button.
- Select
the View Your Detailed Schedule link to view your schedule for the
semester.

Follow these steps to drop a course:
Once you successfully login to the Enrollment Services
website, click on the Registration & Schedule option to drop
any of your courses.
- Select
the Drop/Add Courses link.
- On the
Drop/Add Classes screen find the course that you wish to drop.
- In the
Action field, select the drop option.

- Click
the Submit button.
If you are not able to register for your course:
If you are a non-degree student and have not received
permission to register from the Office of University Admissions you will
receive a message that reads “Student not admitted for term”. Contact the Office of University Admissions
to be admitted for the term.
Degree students who have not registered or maintained
registration for one or more semesters must be readmitted before registering
for classes. Contact the Office of University Admissions to be readmitted for
the term.
If you have a hold, return to the Enrollment Services
screen, by clicking on the Return to Enrollment Services link on the bottom of
the screen, and click on the View Your Holds link.
