Protocol for Navigating WebCT
CHIM Module: Fishbone Analysis
This brief set of notes will allow you to enter and navigate
the CHIM Module: Fishbone Analysis seminar. Hosted in WebCT, the seminar is designed to
allow colleagues to access the material at any time in any environment that
allows internet connection. Thus, the WebCT environment yields a sense of
community for participants of the seminar and its guests.
- In the address line of your computer’s browser, enter
the URL for the seminar: http://cpe.njit.edu/cardinalhealth
- After clicking "Login Here",
click on "Log in to myWebCT" and enter your assigned WebCT ID and Password.
- On the left-hand side of the screen, click "CHIM Module: Fishbone Analysis".
You are now in
the course!
- The seminar content is contained within the screen
you now see. To access the course
content, click on each of the following icons: "Start Here" (a tour of the course), "Syllabus"
(the week-by-week seminar events), "Lectures"
(multimedia files that contains audio), "Quizzes"
(multiple choice questions that are based off of the lectures), "Discussion" (for group work), "E-Mail" (for individual communication), and "Gradebook" (a record of
individual progress).
- The Help icon located on the top of the page will provide you
with information about navigating the seminar. Click on the icon you wish
to enter. Once you are within that part of the seminar, click on the Help icon to have
any questions answered.
- Under the "E-Mail" icon,
pay special attention to the instructions for Reading
& Sending Mail
- Under the "Discussion"
icon, pay special attention to the instructions for Reading
and Sending Messages
