- Forms, Controls, and Menus including Command Buttons, label controls, TextBox controls, choice controls, image controls, PictureBox controls, focus and tab order, and more.
- Component Object Model including COD/DCOM principles, advantages of COM Object, using DCOM, and more.
- ActiveX Programming including understanding ActiveX controls, creating controls, distribution of controls, and more.
- Data Access Interface including database programming overview, data models, database structures, database design concepts, defining tables and columns, database access, database locking, and more.
- Data Access Object (DAO) including component architectures, data control, programming with DAO, error handling with DAO, and more.
- Open Database Connectivity (ODBC) including ODBC architecture, programming, error handling, and more.
