NJIT is pleased to offer uniformed firefighters, civilian members, retired FDNY members, Emergency Medical Technicians, Paramedics and their immediate family members discount pricing on Professional Development / Fast-track (not for credit) and Undergraduate and Graduate courses in stand-alone 12-credit Graduate Certificates.

FDNY members can enroll as non-matriculated undergraduate students (and take up to 15 NJIT credits.) Students may apply for transfer credits AT TIME OF ADMISSION for accredited courses taken at other US institutions. Additionally, students may be granted course credit for certain college level knowledge acquired through non-traditional education such as Fire Academy training, independent study or job related experiences. This credit may be granted for successfully passing selected DANTES or CLEP subject examinations.
