ACCESS/NJIT, while flexible in its delivery, is rigorous with respect
to test-taking. Each semester you must submit a formal declaration
about where you will take your exam(s). You can either request:
to take the exam at a prescheduled time in a location where your
classmates are also being tested under the supervision of an NJIT
representative, or
at the discretion of your instructor and at a time and location
mutually agreeable to you, the Academic Department, and the Distance
Learning Office (DL), to take the exam with a personal proctor.
Proctor nomination forms are used by eLearning students to identify
a potential proctor to the Division of Continuing Professional Education
and the instructor for all exams.
Not all eLearning students are eligible to nominate a proctor and
approval of proctors is done by the instructor. Typically students
must take exams at an approved testing site. The only exception is
the following:
- if you are enrolled in any eLearning class and live more than
50 miles from an approved testing center.
Please review
the NJIT Academic
Honor Code before taking your exam.
